The Mt. Vernon Morning Show
The Mt. Vernon Elementary Morning Show is an educational daily broadcast produced by our students. Our daily show includes introduction of a letter of the week, letter recognition and a daily vocabulary word tied to the letter of the week. We also have guest appearances and spotlight student work. |

| Morning Show Camera Operator |
Mrs. Loughry, our technology specialist distributes applications to interested 4th & 5th grade students at the beginning of each school year. These students then sit in a panel interview. After the selections have been made, the students are trained in their positions and assigned to a team. There are usually 2 teams of 6 students that rotate on a 2 week basis. These students run all aspects of the morning show from technical to directing the broadcast. We invite you to stop by to check out our show. It is aired daily from 8:35 to 8:40.
